Support The Good Test Project

PROJECT
The seventeen-minute video The Good Test was prepared for the hearing and has proven to be a great witnessing tool. The deaf community has taken advantage of this video through subtitles and closed caption. As good as closed caption and subtitles are, they are not the language of the Deaf. Many deaf have difficulty understanding the English language and concepts. The video contains man on the street interviews that challenge the individuals to think about sin, the Ten Commandments, and what God requires to enter heaven. It concludes with a salvation message.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to create a deaf version of The Good Test that will reflect the attitudes and culture of the American deaf community. The finished product will be in the DVD format. Our goal is to create an all new version with a narrator and interviewer who use sign language and interview actual deaf people for their responses. At the end will be an explanation and call to salvation in American Sign Language. The DVD will be available to churches, schools, Deaf conferences and individuals as a tract to hand out. It will also be offered by Deaf Video Communications through the DVC Library and on the DVC website www.deafvideo.com.
